CYC was well represented at the 2023 Augusta Halloween Regatta. Jan Havmoeller sailed 2-2-1 on the first day in stout winds to finish with a two point lead over San Diego’s John Harrop. Dave Forrest won race two but a pair of 4s had him in third place. Day two was sailed in much lighter wind. Jan sailed 2-1 to wrap up first place. Dave surged into second with an ace in race four. He followed it up with a deuce in race five to lock down second overall. Congratulations, Jan and Dave.
