The chain saws were humming and the wheelbarrows rollin’ as a hearty crew brought the club back to life both today (April 27) and in the weeks prior to. The beaches and ramps were cleared of debris, gravel and dock boards were added in the rowing area, crush and run filled pot holes, trees were pruned, grass was cut, a notorious piling was trimmed, a new walkway installed, and the clubhouse roof was cleaned. By mornings end, we had a large construction dumpster filled to the brim and our club looked clean and green, ready for summer. Suffice to say, all the hard work by today’s participants and those who did their projects early is very much appreciated.
