Jan Havmoeller makes it two for two!! Fred Herr brings home the “bronze”! Twelve boats entered the annual Rebel Rouser Regatta on Lake Lanier, Ga. Six races Were held over two days. Jan defended his 2023 title brilliantly. The CYC Scowman sailed a 1-3-1-3-1-2 series for 11 points to win the “gold” and bring the big trophy back to CYC. Fred sailed an efficient 4-5-4-1-4-8 series to secure third place. Lanier’s Kurt Stadele sailed 3-2-2-2-7-5 for second place. CONGRATULATIONS JAN AND FRED. With Dave Forrest winning the 2022 event, this make three years in a row that CYC has won the Rebel Rouser. With his victory last week at the 2024 Bunny Hop Regatta on Lake Norman, Jan is a perfect 2-0 in regional regattas this year!! Full Results.
